Stock Jeep® CJ steering box mounts are stamped steel (1/8"), and not known for their strength. For larger then 33" tires, & a front locker, the steering brace is not enough. Our Heavy Duty Steering Box Mount is made from 1/2" thick steel and will lock the box to the frame better then any other method.
