This bracket will raise the steering pillow block to get rid of the annoying bump feel that occurs with the 1" & 1-1/4" body lifts. Same bracket that we use in our TJ body lift kits (BLTJ97). Available for 4.0L (6 cylinder) or 2.5L (4 cylinder).

I did an ls swap what is the physical difference in the 2 options I also raised my gear box from the factory location
The base mount to center of steering shaft are as follows. You can subtract the differance
BLTJ97SBK-4 is 4.3" tall
BLTJ97PBB is 5" tall
BLTJ97SBK is 3.68 tall -
Hi I have a 2.5 in mine now about to put a 4.0 I have a body lift but do I buy a 2.5 bracket or a 4.0 bracket cuz I have I cut my old one off anyway? Thanks

Yes you will need to cut the existing one off and you will need the 4.0 bracket.

Installed one of these on my 01 TJ and now the seal to the firewall won’t stay put. Do you offer an alternative seal with the hole off center?
Sorry we do not offer a seal. You will need to order one from your dealer. or a salvage yard
