I submitted this questions last week. Please let me know so I can order. When the step is removed, does any part of the bracket hang below the frame. We do alot of off-roading and do not want it to get caught on anything.
The step portion can be removed and nothing hangs below the frame. See attche install instruction. Figure 4 and 5 show the step removed and the two ears.

Will these work on a 2021 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 4XE ? Factory Rock Rails are installed
There are different factory rock rails. If it is just the type that is tight to the side of the body pannel it will work. If it has an extra tube or a wide step part of the slider it will not. Do you have a photo you can send us or know the actual name of the factory slider?

For a 2021 Jeep Gladiator Willys with factory installed rock rails. Can these be installed without removing my rock rails? thanks
We recomend un-nutting all the factory nuts on the slider accept the front nut. And then un-screwing all but a couple of turn on the front nut. This allows you to slide our Hide-A-Step under the factory slide rail. Also these steps will not work on factory sliders that have an addational tube welded on. The tube covers up our step

Idea on how long these will last from a rust stand point, thank you
Chuck,
Great question. Under the black powder coating is a class IV zinc plating that is .001 thick. You will have excellent corrosion resistance in road salts and mag-chloride for a long lived product.
Thanks

I have a 2018 Wrangler Rubicon JL 2 door.I see mention of the four door and the truck but not the 2 door. Do these work with the factory rails on the two door?
Don,
Yes it will work for your factory JL rock rail. The only time that it will not work is in some packages the factory ads an extra round rail onto the rectangle Rubicon slider. Then it will be sticking out to far for the Dead Pedal.
Thanks,
Scott
