Reinforce the frame of your Jeep CJ with these 3/16" thick steel plates. Pre-punched holes line up perfectly, and their contour cut to the shape of the frame. Weld them on the outside of the frame and add serious strength to the stock weak design. Available for the front or rear of the Jeep CJ.
Can fit 1972-1975 with minor mods.

You can put these on the inside but you will have to cut them up in sections due to the cross members intersection.

No modificatins should be required. The holes in the frame plate match the holes in the frame. Only welding of the frame plate to the frame.

Is this made in the US with " cold rolled "American steel?
Yes and no. Yes it is American steel and fabricated in the USA but it is not cold roll steel. It is made of A36 hot roll plate.

To install front plates you would have to remove front body out rigger then weld back onto the plate does this cause any problems with the body mounts? Or do you have to trim the body mount out rigger?
