When you bolt these on do you run the bolt all the way thru the frame with a nut and bolt on top of the frame or do you drill and tap just the bottom side of the frame. Do you put weight on the springs to find the proper spot to bolt it to the frame kind of like the shackle reverse with the 1 inch block? Or do you just put it in the same place as the original hanger?
It goes in the original hanger location. The frame is not thick enough for threads. Perhaps a long tab nut on the inside of the frame will work or if you do a bolt all through the frame walls you will definatly need a crush sleave. It really is best to weld the spring hanger in place.
