Shackle Reversal System with Bolt-On Spring Hanger Brackets for Jeep Wrangler YJ (1987-95)
Description
The front pivot brackets are fully welded and powder coated. They bolt to the stock shackle mount and lower front bumper mounting holes and additional holes that you must drill in the frame. Your shackles mount to our unique shackle hanger that is adjustable (fore & aft) on the frame. This is important for all of the different leaf spring combinations available. It will work with or without a lift kit, spring under or over the axles. This S.R.S. will lift the front of your Jeep 1.5" with the standard front brackets, and will lift the front of your Jeep 0.75" with the front stubby brackets. Stubby front brackets will also increase caster 3-4 degrees. All brackets are fully assembled and powder coated, ready to bolt on. No welding required. Your shackles are retained. As with all of our Wrangler S.R.S., we recommend using our SlipLoc, or DoubleJointed trac bar. We don't just use standard bolts in critical pivoting areas like our competitors, our bolts are greaseable that makes your system superior to others out on the market. The front driveshaft will need to be modified with a long travel slip in stub.
