YJ springs in a CJ need to be moved forward 1". Is that accomplished with these?

This particular sprning mount does not move the spring mount forward 1" (CJ frame using factory CJ springs). The item we make that does move the springs 1" forward is the https://mountainoffroad.com/collections/spring-mounts/products/front-shackle-hanger-76-86-cj-front-1 (CJ frame using YJ 2-1/2" wide springs). The short gusseted side goes to the inside for clearance.

Will this front shackle hanger with the side flanges interfere with the steering box bracket [SB7686] at the frame bolt location?

The front spring hanger will not interfere with the steering box (SB7686) bracket where it mounts to the frame. They are are designed to work together.

when installing these on the front of a 1980 cj5 does the bushing hole face towards the front of the jeep or the rear of the jeep?
