Front Skid Plate for Jeep Wrangler JL (2018+)

Tough Skid Plate Almost Perfect

"I mounted this front electronic sway bar disconnect skid plate on a 2022 Jeep Rubicon. Made in USA, fit and finish were great. Two things could have made it perfect. The plate area covering the actual sway link actuator could be bit deeper. When mounted, the rear-most portion of the electronic actuator is still bit exposed in my opinion. I welded on an extra piece of bar stock which destroyed the coating in that area but a bit of paint fixed that and it isn't visible once stock plastic air dam is reinstalled The other thing to improve is that there is no provision for securing the front stock plastic air dam rear hold screws to the new skid plate. The stock OEM tin-can thick protector plate has mounting nuts but of course the OEM unit is removed to install the new heavy duty Mountain unit. It was a bit of a hassle to design something to make it possible to attach the air dam screws to the new skid plate. If you don't plan on using the stock plastic air dam then it isn't a problem."

Perfect skid plate to protect under the radiators & draglink control arm

"It was fairly easy to install. Might need to use some tape to hold the big washers in place. But I really love how the skid plate is massive and ready to take some abuse. Fits perfectly with my custom bumper I installed previously. Of all the other skid plates I think this one is the best one on the market. Delivery fee is a bit high but when you need the best protection M.O.R.E. definitely has you covered. I feel that the skid plate will offer better protection for my radiators underneath for those Icy water dams crossings in the winter. Plus it looks really beefy and cool."
