Description
The OMEGA system combines Genesis Offroad’s proven simplicity with the advanced charging technology of REDARC to create the most complete, plug-and-play dual battery solution available for the 2020+ Jeep Gladiator (3.6L gas engines).
Tray & Lid
The heavy-duty steel battery tray replaces the factory plastic unit, providing a secure mount for both the cranking and auxiliary batteries. The Omega lid arrives completely pre-wired, eliminating guesswork and ensuring the cleanest, easiest installation possible.
REDARC Alpha 25 Amp DC-DC Charger
A dedicated mounting bracket positions the REDARC Alpha charger directly over the fuse box for a tidy, efficient fit. The Alpha charger intelligently charges your auxiliary battery using the correct profile for your battery type and includes built-in Green Power Priority™, maximizing solar input when available.
Plug-In Power Connections
The Omega system simplifies wiring to a single click:
- Negative on AUX Battery
- Positive on AUX Battery
- Negative on Cranking Battery
- Positive on Cranking Battery
- Solar Power Port

How It Works
Engine On
- The alternator charges the cranking battery as usual.
- All factory electronics draw from the cranking battery.
- When the Alpha charger senses that the engine is running, it begins charging the auxiliary battery automatically.
- With Green Power Priority™, solar power is used first when available, reducing strain on the alternator.
Engine Off
- Factory circuits and accessories on the cranking battery continue to operate normally.
- Any aftermarket devices wired to the auxiliary battery draw only from the auxiliary battery — protecting your cranking battery from discharge.
Easy Installation
The Omega system handles all wiring for you. It includes:
- Steel dual-battery tray
- Pre-wired Omega lid
- Alpha charger mounting bracket
- All required hardware
Most customers can complete installation in 2–3 hours using common tools. Professional shops typically bill 2 hours for installation on a stock vehicle.
Bluetooth Monitoring
Use the REDARC Redvision app to view real-time system performance including battery voltage, temperature, and solar charging data.
- First, configure with REDARC Redvision Configurator
- Then monitor through Redvision by REDARC
Start Assist Mode
If the cranking battery is too low to start the engine, use the Redvision app to activate Recovery Mode. The Alpha charger will use power from the auxiliary battery to charge your cranking battery for 15 minutes to help get you started.
Battery Requirements
- Cranking Battery: Group 25 (required so the factory positive post clamp fits correctly)
- Accessory Battery (AGM): Group 35 recommended
- Accessory Battery (Lithium): Dakota Lithium 135Ah (correct size for the tray and rated for under-hood temperatures)
