2 Gallon Water GEN 2
Description
When your route takes you far beyond the next fuel stop, carrying extra fuel isn’t just smart — it’s part of the plan. The RotopaX 2-Gallon Fuel Container is the most trusted, field-tested way to do it right. Designed, molded, and assembled in the USA, it’s built for off-roaders who care about function, safety, and long-term reliability.
Each RotopaX can is rotationally molded using a patented three-layer process, giving it perfectly even wall thickness and structural integrity that blow-molded cans can’t match. The inner barrier layer controls fuel vapor escape, keeping the container fully EPA and CARB compliant — legal for use in all 50 states. The body is made from UV-stable, high-density polyethylene, so it won’t swell, crack, or soften even under constant exposure and temperature swings. Inside the fill neck, a Flame Mitigation Device (FMD) prevents flashback ignition and “flame jetting”.
Key Features
- 2-Gallon Capacity — compact but capable for UTVs, motorcycles, and overland builds.
- Roto-Molded HDPE Construction — seamless body with internal vapor barrier.
- EPA & CARB Certified — compliant with national fuel storage standards.
- Flame Mitigation Device — stainless insert prevents internal ignition.
- Compatible Mounts — Standard, DLX, and LOX Pack Mounts, plus Roll Bar Mount options.
- ECO Spout Included — clean, metered pouring without spills.
- BPA-Free & UV-Stable — resistant to ethanol fuels and sun damage.
- 10-Year Leak-Free Warranty — long-term durability backed by the manufacturer.
Choose a solid, flat surface — tailgate, bed rack, or roof rack — and secure your Pack Mount base. Slide the container in, twist the T-handle to lock, and check for movement. On round tubing, use the Roll Bar Mount for a tight fit. For stacked setups, match the extension size to your bottom can (maximum of two containers).
To extend lifespan, vent daily or with temperature or elevation changes, and keep the container either full or empty to prevent vapor pressure. Each RotopaX is built to handle real vibration and trail abuse.
Made in the USA, engineered by off-roaders, and trusted across the industry — this container sets the benchmark for what “trail-ready” really means.
Partner item — ships directly from RotopaX.
