2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK DIY Kit
Description
2007–2018 Jeep Wrangler JK DIY Kit
For the dedicated do-it-yourself crowd, this standalone kit gives you our premium steel battery tray and bare top lid — perfect if you want to use your own battery isolator, design a custom wiring layout, or build a system that meets unique electrical needs. You get the same high-quality foundation as our full-featured dual battery kit, just without the pre-mounted components, and all installation hardware is included.
Included in the Box
- Steel Battery Tray: CNC laser-cut and bent for a precise fit, then powder coated for long-lasting durability.
- Steel Battery Lid: Bare lid with no electronics. Includes threaded studs for mounting your own components and grommets for routing custom wiring.
- Hardware: Everything you need for a clean, secure installation.
Battery Requirements
Requires matching Group 34 batteries. Group 34R batteries will not work due to reversed post orientation. Factory battery is not compatible.
Install Time
If you're handy with a wrench, expect a 2–3 hour install using our detailed installation video. Most 4x4 shops typically bill about 2 hours for a stock JK. Additional time may be needed for installing and wiring your custom electronics.
Compatibility
Fits all Jeep Wrangler JK models from 2007–2018.
Engine compatibility: 07–11 3.8L, 12–18 3.6L, European diesel engines (LHD only), Hemi (5.7L, 6.1L, 6.4L), LS engines including LS3. For Right-Hand-Drive JK, see part number 131-JKDBK-RHDG3.
EVAP Note: 2007–2011 models include an extension cable for relocating the EVAP solenoid.
Power add-on compatibility: RIPP Supercharger, Prodigy Performance Turbo, Magnuson Supercharger, Sprintex Supercharger.
Snorkel compatibility: AEV, Rugged Ridge, Volant, ARB. Not compatible with the River Raider cowl snorkel.
Works with most aftermarket air intake systems that use the factory air box space.
Partner item — ships directly from Genesis Offroad.
