2007-2021 Toyota Tundra Gen 3 Dual Battery System
Description
Batteries Sold Separately: Group 25 Batteries Required
2007–2021 Toyota Tundra Gen 3 Dual Battery System
This Gen 3 dual battery system provides reliable power support for Toyota Tundra builds running winches, lighting, air systems, refrigerators, and other high-demand accessories. It uses a smart automatic battery combiner, heavy-duty bus bars, and premium cabling to protect your starting battery while powering all auxiliary equipment.
Smart Power Hub
The integrated Power Hub includes positive and negative bus bars with multiple stud sizes for heavy-gauge wiring and screw terminals for lower-amp accessories. A Boost Switch gives you Auto, On, and Off modes, and a dedicated port provides easy connection to the optional G Screen monitoring system.
Automatic Battery Management
A smart battery combiner links or isolates the batteries automatically based on voltage levels. It charges the cranking battery first, then charges both batteries together. When voltage drops, the combiner separates them, ensuring accessories run from the auxiliary battery without draining the starter battery.
Heavy-Duty Smart Combiner
Rated for 300 amps continuous with short-duration ratings up to 2,000 amps, the smart combiner requires no power to stay engaged and produces no heat. This delivers dependable performance for high-load electrical systems.
Required Battery Setup
This kit requires two matching Group 25 batteries. The factory battery cannot be reused.
Premium Cable Construction
All cables use 2ga high-strand pure copper welding cable for maximum flexibility, conductivity, and abrasion resistance. Copper lugs are tin-plated for improved corrosion resistance and sealed with heavy adhesive-lined heat shrink for long-term durability.
Vehicle Compatibility
Fits 2007–2021 Toyota Tundra.
Some 2014–2017 models have headlight assemblies that may interfere with the tray. In some cases, trimming the rear of the headlight assembly will provide clearance; other trucks may require a slimmer aftermarket headlight. Refer to installation instructions for additional notes.
