The OMEGA system delivers a complete DC-DC charger–based dual battery solution for Wrangler JL models, pairing a heavy-duty steel tray, a fully pre-wired Omega lid, and the REDARC Alpha 25A DC-DC charger. It provides maximum power output with minimal installation effort.

How It Works
Engine On:
The alternator charges the cranking battery and powers factory electronics. When the Alpha charger detects engine operation, it charges the auxiliary battery with the optimal profile for the selected battery type. Green Power Priority™ prioritizes solar input when available, reducing alternator load and improving efficiency.
Engine Off:
Factory circuits and accessories wired to the cranking battery continue using that battery only. Accessories wired to the auxiliary battery draw exclusively from the auxiliary side, preventing unnecessary cranking-battery drain.
Easy to Install
The Omega system integrates wiring, mounting, and charging components into a single streamlined kit. The steel tray holds both batteries, the Omega lid arrives fully pre-wired, and the included bracket mounts the Alpha charger securely. All necessary hardware is included.
Bluetooth Monitoring
Use the REDARC RedVision app suite to configure and monitor battery performance.
- Setup via the RedVision Configurator app
- Monitor voltage, temperature, and charge data through the RedVision by REDARC app
- View solar charging levels when equipped
Start Assist Mode
If the cranking battery cannot start the engine, the RedVision app can activate Recovery mode. The auxiliary battery powers the charger for 15 minutes to restore cranking-battery charge.
Battery Size Required
The cranking battery must be Group 25 for proper fitment. For AGM auxiliary setups, a Group 35 battery is recommended. For lithium systems, the Dakota Lithium 135Ah is recommended as the only lithium model sized correctly for the tray and suitable for under-hood temperatures.
Compatibility
Fits 2018+ Jeep Wrangler JL with 3.6L or 2.0L gas engines, with or without eTorque, and 4XE models.
Cable Size
All Omega cables use 8-gauge pure copper welding cable for superior conductivity, flexibility, and abrasion resistance. Tin-plated copper lugs enhance conductivity and corrosion resistance, and adhesive-lined heat shrink seals each connection for long-term durability.
Install Time
Most installers complete the system in 2–3 hours with basic tools and the installation video. Shops typically bill around 2 hours for stock vehicles. Additional time may be required if existing aftermarket wiring needs rerouting.
