Great Protection
"I purchased this after my OE thin plate was crushed while wheeling. Installation was easy with provided hardware. This skid plate is for vehicles with OE bumper. I have a DV8 OE style bumper so I knew I might have to modify a little. I ended up cutting a half inch strip off the bottom back edge of my bumper and that allowed for a perfect fit. Only other problem I encountered was that I have a Mopar lift kit with remote mounted shock reservoirs that are installed where the side bolts for the skid plate are located. It was an easy mod to remove the old and install the new and remount the reservoir over the skid plate. The skid plate looks great and its light weight is a welcome addition to my 2 door JL."
