This skid plate is powder coated black and protects the vulnerable cross over tube of your exhaust system that will get crushed if you don't use our skid plate. Stock JLs do not come equipped with an oil or transmission skid plate from the factory, and our skid plate will prevent future undercarriage damage.
Stock Jeep JLs with standard transmissions do not come equipped with a transmission skid plate from the factory. On automatic transmission equipped JLs, this will replace the thin and weak factory skid plate.
Fits 2021 to current JL Wranglers Unlimited (4 Door) equipped with 392 HEMI 8-cylinder engines (6.4L) and the OEM Exhaust system.
If you have an aftermarket front axle in your jeep, it will need to be checked for clearance at full stuff on the drivers side. May need to clearance the fins on the center section.

The 392 has two different oil pans. The early ones had an aluminum pan, and the later ones a steel pan. Which oil pan is this designed for?
This skid plate will work with both oil pans.
