Onboard Air Install Kit: ARB Mount, Air Hose & Digital Inflator
Description
Already Own the Compressor? Finish the Install — and Save 15%
Four things to check before you build:
- The compressor is not included. This kit is built for people who already own an ARB twin compressor. If you are starting from scratch, choose our Complete Onboard Air System instead — it includes the ARB CKMTA12.
- Pick your fitment carefully. Every bracket is cut for one platform. Select the option that matches your make, model and year — the wrong bracket will not line up with your factory mounting points.
- JL Unlimited owners have two options. Driver side and passenger side versions mount in different locations. Pick whichever spot is free on your build.
- Special Color is not available in bundles. Build this kit in Pure Black, Flame Red, Tactical Gray or Desert Sand. For a custom finish, order the bracket on its own product page.
What's in Your Kit
Vehicle-Specific Mounting Bracket — Made by Mountain Offroad
This is the part that turns a portable compressor into permanent onboard air. Laser-cut and powder-coated in Colorado, every ARB twin air compressor mount is built around one platform's factory mounting points — no cutting, no drilling, no fabricating a plate in your garage on a Saturday.
We make ARB air compressor brackets for Jeep Wrangler JK, JL, TJ and Gladiator, plus Toyota Tacoma, 4Runner and Tundra, Ford Bronco and GM trucks. Tacoma, 4Runner and Tundra buyers can choose a compressor-only bracket or a compressor-and-tank bracket if an air tank is in the plan. Four finishes across the whole range.
Tire-Rite WorkHose Lightweight Air Line
The problem nobody warns you about: once your ARB twin compressor is hard-mounted under the hood or behind a seat, the factory line no longer reaches the rear tires. You end up moving the vehicle to finish the job.
Choose 25', 35' or 50'. Go 3/8" for faster flow on the longer runs, or 1/4" if you want a lighter line that coils easily and stores small.
Tire-Rite Digital Air Inflator/Deflator
Most ARB owners are still using the basic chuck that came in the box. This replaces it with a backlit digital gauge that reads pressure at the valve stem instead of at the compressor — so the number you see is the number in the tire.
One tool inflates, deflates and checks pressure, one-handed. Choose HD or Pro, straight, 90-degree or flex chuck, and a 24" or 36" hose. The longer hose lets you hold the display at eye level while the chuck stays on the valve, which matters more than it sounds when your compressor is mounted low.
Keeps the inflator, chuck and fittings together instead of loose in the back of the truck.
Why Hard-Mount It At All
A portable tire inflator or a compressor in a bag works — right up until it does not.
It slides around the cargo area. The connections loosen from vibration. It has to come out, get set up, and get packed away every single time. And in cold or wet weather, wrestling a loose compressor at the trailhead is the exact moment people decide to skip airing down altogether.
Hard-mounting fixes all of it. The compressor is wired, protected and permanently connected. You pull over, run the line, and go. This is the single upgrade that turns onboard air from something you own into something you actually use.
Air Down, Air Up
Knowing how to deflate a tire properly is half of running trail pressure. Guessing at it with a cheap pen gauge is why people run 22 PSI when they meant 15.
The digital inflator gives you a real number at the valve stem, both directions. Drop to trail pressure at the trailhead for a longer contact patch and better traction on rock and sand. Bring it back to street pressure on the way home in minutes — no gas station queue, no coins.
That cycle is the whole reason onboard air exists. This kit is what makes it fast enough that you will bother.

One Order Instead of Three
Building the install together takes 15% off the total — the deepest discount in our onboard air range, because the bracket is ours and we can afford to pass more of it on.
Still comparing? Our off road deals page collects everything discounted across the store, and the best deals on off road parts move quickly.
Two Brands, One System
Mountain Offroad has been building off-road parts in Colorado since 1982. Everything with our name on it is designed, cut, welded and finished here — including the bracket in this kit. Four decades of building for the same platforms is why our mounts bolt to factory holes instead of asking you to drill.
Tire Rite makes the tools at the other end of the air line — inflators, gauges, deflators and hoses built for people who use them in the dirt, not in a garage. Precise enough to trust, simple enough to operate with cold hands.
We partnered with them because onboard air is a chain, and it is only as strong as the part you skipped. A world-class compressor on a flimsy bracket works loose. A perfect install with a guessing-game gauge means you are still running the wrong pressure. Putting our brackets together with their air tools means every link was chosen on purpose.
